Artists, submissions are due Tuesday, January 3rd for Tongue in Cheek, our First exhibition of 2023. Drop off your artwork at the Guild House, 109 W 9th St., Lumberton, from 10:00 AM to Noon and from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Ellen Burke to Judge Tongue in Cheek Exhibition
|

The Robeson Art Guild is pleased to announce that Ellen Burke has agreed to judge Tongue in Cheek, our first exhibition for 2023.
|
Ellen has a 38-year career as an art educator and Fine and Performing Arts chair in New York and Massachusetts. After retiring from her public-school career, she was adjunct professor of art education at the Art Institute of New Hampshire.
|
Since moving to Pinehurst in 2015 Ellen has enjoyed giving art appreciation lectures at Hollyhocks Gallery, the Arts Council of Moore County and for local organizations as well as teaching art lessons to children and adults in a variety of mediums.
|
Ellen believes that the arts connect us to our shared humanity and celebrate our unique individuality. She encourages her students to explore, reflect, take a risk and to embrace the artistic process

The Opening Reception for Tongue in Cheek is set for Thursday, January 5th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Guild House...
