Good Morning!

We could use some help at the Guild House this month, and off-site, too, with the upcoming Saturday, May 16th exhibit at Trinity Episcopal Church in Lumberton. Do you have a few minutes you could pitch in?

  • Put together floor easels and display stands (for classes & off-site)
  • Transport and setup at Trinity Friday 5/15 & Saturday 5/16; get stuff back to Guild House Saturday afternoon
  • Help with refreshments and information at Trinity during program
  • Help with intake Tuesday, May 12th; touch up and hanging for judge
Other ways you can help:
  • Help with Bar-B-Q and reception Thursday, May 21st, for exhibition and Remembrance Poppy
  • Help with upcoming classes: Indigo Dyed Scarf, Pottery, Felted Wool Wallets, and others!
  • Help greeting visitors to the Guild House as a docent for a few hours. Let us know when you're available!
  • Other types of help include distributing flyers, organizing the research books, and some creative care for the grounds!
We are also looking for someone to help Jim Tripp with the kiln services now available for potters.

Contact Carole Blaney or Jim Tripp if you are interested!

Thank you!

The Playing in the Mud! Class is Winding Up - What's Next?
Jim Tripp's first full pottery class taking students all the way through to glazing, firing AND even using the potter wheel is wrapping up. We expected each participant to make at least one, maybe two pieces... Well, these are some over-productive potters! I don't have a final count yet, but at least 3 each seems a fair guess. The pieces …
