We are running a bit late right now due to some technical issues caused by malware. Thankfully, that seems to be fixed, but a mole sticks its head up occasionally, so please let us know if you notice anything, well, weird. Now, on to the update! The New Year Celebration 2026 Exhibition opened a few days late due to the cold weather. There are some very nice new pieces celebrating the 250th Anniversary of the United States AND helping mark our own anniversary milestone! The Robeson Art Guild turns FIVE this year! Be sure to stop in and see these new works for yourself before the exhibition closes next week on Thursday, March 5th.

James Bass, Ed.D, was the judge for the exhibition. A professional educator with a rich history of experience at UNCP, Jim is the Executive Director of the Givens Performing Art Center. We are delighted that he agreed to judge another exhibition for us!

Members heard last year that the Robeson Art Guild planned to arrange short art exhibits around Robeson County in the future. We are excited to see these plans begin to evolve, first with this local community event that highlights the interplay of music and the visual arts we love, and later further afield in and around Robeson County.
