Call for Entries for the New Year Celebration 2026!
Remember the cold snap last year that delayed everything?! Well, we’re getting off to a quicker start this year! Plus, it’s a very special year for the Art Guild – 2026 marks not only the 250th Anniversary of the United States, it is also the 5th Anniversary of the Robeson Art Guild! Time to party!! Start by getting your entries in for the New Year Celebration 2026 Exhibition! Intake is Tuesday, January 13 and the Opening Reception will be Thursday, January 22!
The exhibition runs through March 5th and with what a special year this is, there are going to be surprises along the way. If you haven’t signed up for the newsletter, now is a good time!
The theme for the New Year Celebtation is what this year means to you, artists and art lovers alike. Perhaps you are inspired by opportunities for new beginnings, or maybe the imminent arrival of Valentine’s Day, it doesn’t matter, just share your vision and enthusiasm with others. Anything is welcome that celebrates the promise of this New Year, being good to ourselves and those we love, and that helps to raise spirits after the long, rather tumultuous winter. Let’s have a good time and enjoy the brighter, lengthening days!
As we look forward to the New Year, check out the 2026 Planning Calendar – you have plenty of time to decide on the perfect pieces to create for the upcoming shows, and to let us know if we’re missing an opportunity! Things may change a bit as we hear from Guild members and the community, but we’ll keep you posted and updated. See you soon!

Welcome to the Robeson Art Guild. We are a growing group of folks who live with a passion for the Visual Arts and artistic mediums in and around Robeson County in North Carolina, USA.
We are open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 am to 4 pm, for Special Events, and By Appointment, even for your own private gathering! Watch for announcements of special events, exhibitions, classes and community events that occur throughout the year in and around Lumberton, North Carolina and at the Guild House.
