Hard to believe, but 2026 marks our fifth full year of activities here at the Guild House in Lumberton, NC! Last year we launched our first planning calendar at the behest of local artists and supporters, so we could all know what was coming up, plan creative projects, and make changes where desirable. So, Folks, here’s the earliest version of the 2026 Calendar for the Robeson Art Guild, this time highlighting Special Awards, Member Events, Community Events and opportunities to consider in the coming months.
This version is being published in early December 2025, so the current show is the Holiday Member’s Choice Exhibition and the Holiday Marketplace just opened. Both will run through December 18th. If you’re reading this in December and haven’t been in to see the show and the unique items on sale in the Marketplace, well, what are you waiting for?! Come on in and have a look!
Below is the exhibition schedule for 2026. Themes may change as we get feedback from members on what they want to explore during the year, but the Special Awards introduced in 2025 will be offered again in 2026:
- Remembrance Poppy Award to honor our veterans
- Community Scenes Award to capture memories of Robeson County life
The seasonal themes and central timeline are set, but as usual, sometimes things need to shift a bit as new information comes to light. Let us know if you see an opportunity we missed – or if we made a mistake! You are welcome to join us at the monthly Volunteer Lunch & Share and quarterly Members Meeting to share your thoughts on Art Guild activities and plans.
