We were looking forward to a great day of golf on Saturday, but with temperatures expected to be close to 100 it is best to postpone for a bit. We are working with Pine Crest for the new date. We will keep you posted!

The Online Auction of artworks from Robeson County artists is up and running, with new works and experiences being added every few days. The auction has been extended and will conclude the day of the Golf Tournament, so be sure to click the link and visit the Golf Tournament Online Art Auction by Robeson Art Guild | BetterWorld and get your bids in.  You can place your bids online easily and securely.

It’s Alive! In a Good Way!

The Golf Tournament Online Art Auction is Alive and well and Open for Public viewing right now! Visit early, browse the items, and plan your bidding strategy. We will be adding more items, too, over the week as new items come in! And, of course, check in on those unique pieces that catch your eye, and your bids!

Bidding starts at 5:00 PM today, Saturday, May 14, and will continue until Saturday, May 21st at 5:00 PM.

Golf Tournament Online Auction

Time’s a-ticking! Please select at least two of your works for the Online Auction and bring them to the Guild House no later than Friday, May 13, so they can be photographed and uploaded to the online album for patrons to study and bid! Don’t forget to include your brief biography and the title, value, and dimensions of each work. Don’t be shy! You don’t want to miss this opportunity to let our community learn about you and your work.

The auction will be online beginning about a week before and conclude on the day of the Golf Tournament, May 21st.  We are working with BetterWorld.org to ensure that bidders see all auction items clearly, can place their bids online securely, and that the auction concludes smoothly at the Golf Tournament, with the artwork available for pickup.  A link to the online gallery link to share with your friends and patrons will be provided to you so you can get the word out and help make this another successful fundraiser! 

Last year, we sold more than 50 pieces with every artist selling and this year we hope to do the same or better.  You should set a minimum price and then let the magic of bidding “wars” drive the process. We look forward to success for our artists and the Guild.  We also look forward to making our patrons very happy.

Attention Artists!!

Golf Tournament Online Auction

As you know. each year the Robeson Art Guild sponsors the Golf Tournament fundraiser at Pine Crest Country Club.  As a major part of the project, we ask our artists to select two of their artworks for the sale. Jim Tripp photographs each piece of art offered. The photographs will appear on our website in a special online gallery where patrons can browse and bid securely.

Please select your two artworks and bring them to the Guild House Thursday and Friday, May 5 and 6, between 11:00 AM-4:00 PM, along with a brief biography and the dimensions of each artwork. Checks will be issued promptly after the online auction is concluded.
