The theme for Fall Into Winter 2025 is the change of seasons, as summer gives way to autumn and winter is hovering, just out of sight perhaps, but ever more clearly felt in shorter days and cooling nights. This season also embraces a bevy of special events and happenings in our local communities, from harvests and farmers markets, to school reopening, family gatherings, and seasonal celebrations.

In recognition of the myriad expressions of our family and community life here, there will be a special Community Scenes Award offered as part of Fall Into Winter. Scenes depicted may be as focused as a family dinner, as personal as going to the dentist or waiting for your car at a dealership, or as meaningful as a wedding, welcoming a new baby, or cultural gathering with special meaning for you - you tell us what speaks to you of Robeson County and our surrounding areas!

The Exhibition opens September 25th with a reception at the Guild House. Join us 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm for a lovely Fall evening. If you haven't seen the new kiln room yet, be sure to take a look while you are here! We have already had successful firings and pottery classes are being planned!

Art Group: Meets Mondays from 12:30 - 2:30 pm
Art Supplies Swap/Share Box
The Swap Box continues to be popular, with members contributing and taking out a range of fun... stuff. From art supplies to try, a nice table easel, books, magazines, whatever who may catch their attention or no longer fit their needs. It's a good way to explore. There is no charge, just remember, if you take something, please bring something in for others - and if you don't need or want what you take, well, just bring it back! The box is in the classroom, next to the art group supplies.

Upcoming Quarterly Meetings!
Mark your calendars now and plan to attend the upcoming Quarterly Members Meetings in 2025. These regular meetings are scheduled for the 3rd Thursday of the ending month each quarter: September 18, and December 18, 2025. They are a great way to learn what is happening at the Art Guild, what is planned, and to share your ideas!
