Annually in the fall each year the Fayetteville/Cumberland County Arts Council awards Artist Support Grants for projects planned for the coming year. Artists operating or residing in Cumberland, Hoke, Robeson, Sampson, and Scotland Counties are eligible and may be awarded grants ranging from $500 to $2,000.

Deadline to apply for the Artist Support Grant is September 15, 2022, for projects being funded during December 1, 2022, and December 31, 2023.
Grant will fund the artistic and professional development of emerging and established artists to enhance the artists’ skills and abilities to create work, improve business operations in their discipline, and/or build their capacity to bring their work to new audiences.
Community Impact: $28,120 in Artist Support Grant awards were allocated to 29 regional artists for projects taking place in 2022.
