Artists, Submissions are Due Tuesday, March 7th!
The Robeson Art Guild (RAG) is accepting entries for Healing Hands our Second exhibition of 2023, on Tuesday, March 7th at the Guild House, 109 W 9th St., Lumberton, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Fees for RAG members are $10 per piece, and for non-member, $15 per piece; all sales will require a 20% commission to the Guild.
Judge
We are pleased to announce that Harry Neely has agreed to judge the submissions for the Healing Hands Exhibition! Harry is a native Carolinian with a family history of musicians and artists. After graduating from NC State University, he joined the U. S. Army. Although he describes himself as largely self-taught, he continued his art education studying under master artists in the United States and Italy. Today he is an elected artist member (EAM) of the American Artist Professional League. His paintings are in collections in the United States, Hong Kong, Australia, and Europe. He lives in the Pinehurst area, where he paints and teaches full-time.

We are looking forward to seeing all your unique, artistic approaches to the Healing Hands theme: the important role the arts play in healing across the spectrum as the subject of 2- and 3-dimensional works.
Don’t forget to mark your calendar to attend the Opening Reception on Thursday, March 9th, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Guild House. The Exhibition runs through Thursday, May 4th, 2023.
Art Removal
Art must remain on exhibit through the run of the exhibition. The date for Healing Arts art removal is Thursday, May 4 between 11 am and 4:00 PM at RAG (109 W 9th St., Lumberton), or by appointment.
Please note that all art must be removed when the exhibition closes. If you are unable to pick up your artwork during the scheduled time, contact us to make alternate arrangements. Artwork which is not picked up may be subject to storage fees.
