Stop in and see the beauty of Nature, as interpreted by our local artists
You may have missed the Opening Reception of the En Plein Air Exhibition on July 13th, Summer is a busy time for most of us! Do come by and visit the exhibition before it closes, though, it is special. See how our local artists have celebrated the wonders and moods of nature and the outdoors, in several different mediums, from paper, canvas, and paint to clay and porcelain, mounted or hanging.
Several of our artists are displaying new work they began at the Artist Residency Workshop with Ellen Burke in May. The slideshow below shows pictures taken during the lessons at the Paul Baker house and along the banks of the Lumber River here in Lumberton. You may recognize some of the works on display today in the Exhibition, as the artists brought them to life!
