October 12th will be a very busy day for the Guild and its members as we help celebrate Lumberton’s 3rd Annual Art Stroll. Not only is the Guild open from 11-4 and 5-8, but we are also offering a BBQ plate sale, cooked by Lil Willies Smokehouse, to the public for lunch, 11-1 and repeating again from 5-7 at the Guild House.
To entertain our audience for the BBQ, we have ARTS ALIVE!!! – artists performing their particular specialties during the evening from 5-8. Participants will include oil painting; watercolor demonstrations; pottery making on the wheel; basket weaving; and a few surprises.
We have the group Unit 3 from Fayetteville, consisting of a bass player, a drummer, and a guitarist performing from 6 to 8. You might recognize the guitarist from previous events, Champ St. Amand
This all leads to my request for some volunteers, please! We will need 4 people for lunch and 4 people for the evening service. Please email me at jtripp8@nc.rr.com to let me know you are willing to work with us during these times.
The Guild is eagerly anticipating a great evening for food, fun, and frolics with ARTS ALIVE!!!
Thank you,
]im Tripp
