Tomorrow is Labor Day and many of you are wrapping up summer holidays, getting ready for kids going back to school … or maybe just winding down and enjoying the advent of cooler weather. Or planning something special for the Fall Into Winter opening, who knows?! Whatever you are doing, nobody is in the mood for the Monday Painting/Art Group, so we are skipping it tomorrow.
We’ll meet next on Monday, September 8th, from 12:30 to 2:30 pm. By all means bring your own project if you want to as usual, but if you want to try something new, join me as I work through some creative exercises I’ve learned thru Lousie Fletcher’s free 10-day Creative Reset class. It’s not another “how to paint” type class, it is more about how to free up your own creativity, explore what you like to do and try some unconventional approaches to develop or discover your own style. We can talk more on the 8th – I’ll bring some materials so you can take a stab if so inclined.

She has some interesting episodes; I liked Episode 273 – about when you’ve got paintings stacking up, and you’re either excited about what you’re working on, or wondering where to go next.
