The tree is up, the Holiday Members Choice Exhibition is hung and Judge Sandy Stratil has made her award selections and the Marketplace tables are nearly ready to share with you! Join us tomorrow, December 4th from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm for the Opening Reception! We’re so excited that this marks our Second Annual Members Marketplace – don’t miss seeing what the local artists have ready for you this year.
Both Judge Stratil’s Holiday Exhibition Awards AND the People’s choice Award for the Fall into Winter exhibition that closed recently will be presented at the opening. Did your Favorite win? Stop in and find out – I’m not telling! And whilst here, don’t forget to vote for your favorites for the Holidays – that’s both your favorite entry in the Holiday Exhibition AND your favorite Marketplace display. The artists will be replenishing their wares, too, through the season, so plan on more than one visit (and more than one chance to vote)! We’ll look forward to seeing you!

So far, the weather is forecast to be dry Thursday evening, and not too cold – but who really cares anyway once you step inside a Holiday wonderland. Mark Andersen will be filling the air with music on the wonderful 1918 parlor grand piano, and our House Elves have been hard at work getting ready – it’s all shaping up beautifully! So plan on lovely music, good food, and plenty of new, fun, and beautiful artwork to enjoy!
Both the Exhibition and the Marketplace are open through December 18, so be sure to drop by and browse during our normal open hours,
Normal hours are Mondays between 12:30 and 2:30 pm, and Tuesday and Thursday between 11 am and 4 pm, but we’ll do our best to help you have a wonderful Christmas. Give us a call if you want to stop in some other time and we’ll see what we can do.
Don’t miss the Christmas tree next to the piano! There are some very special handmade ornaments you can make your own!

Just a couple of the Marketplace tables, including
- Jim Tripp’s Pumpkin Patch,
- just some of Joan Blackwell’s paintings and prints,
- an array of Denise Siracusa’s unique ornaments and creations,
- and some iconic wood carvings from Mike Siracusa.
And don’t miss the Gift Shop! Many of the artists have unique items available there – from Kay Bradsher’s illustrated children’s book, to Joan Blackwell’s lovely gourds and jewelry, to MM Anderson’s lovely seasonal and timeless cards featuring just some of her winning pastel artworks, and bears, Oh My, bigger handmade mohair bears by Elain Milosz… and who knows what else by Thursday evening!
