New Year Celebration Opening Reception

The Exhibition opens January 22nd with the Opening Reception at the Guild House. Join us at 6:30 pm to celebrate the New Year with other members and supporters of our wonderful local artists.

This is a special year in many ways! For starters, 2026 marks the 5th Anniversary of the Robeson Art Guild – pretty exciting as it is also the 250th Anniversary of the United States! Time to party!! We’re starting off with the New Year Celebration Exhibition. Some artists were inspired by the opportunity for new beginnings or the imminent arrival of Valentine’s Day, others share their feelings occasioned by the anniversaries being celebrated this year! Come by and help celebrate the promise of the New Year, being good to ourselves and those we love, and help to raise spirits after the long winter.

Last year we ran rather late due to a tough cold snap, but this year we seem to be off to a fairly warm – at least not frigid! – start. Let’s have a good time and enjoy the brighter, lengthening days!
