Arts Alive! Swing by the Robeson Art Guild and See What's Happening!
Arts Alive at the Guild House most days, but October 12th is Special! We're celebrating the 3rd Annual Main Street Art Stroll with live demonstrations, live music, and delicious BBQ dinners cooked up by Kemp Harris of Lil Willies Smokehouse. BBQ tickets will go on sale soon by the plate, but this time plan to stick around and enjoy the evening at the Guild House. Not only is the Guild open from 11 M to 4 pm as usual, we will also be open 5 to 8 pm so you can enjoy your BBQ dinner at the Guild House - or take home if you prefer! But then you would miss out on the fun! To entertain you, we have ARTS ALIVE!!! – artists performing their particular specialties during the evening from 5 to 8 pm. Participants will include oil painting; watercolor demonstrations; pottery making on the wheel; basket weaving; and a few surprises.
But wait, There's more! Music by the group Unit 3 from Fayetteville, featuring a bass player, a drummer, and a guitarist performing from 6 to 8 pm. You might recognize the guitarist from previous events, Champ St. Amand. Plan to stay awhile, enjoy the company and your BBQ dinner.
BONUS! Visit the Main Gallery and see the lovely artwork of local artists on display in the Autumn Color Play Exhibition and the special works of Featured Artists Denise and Mike Siracusa on display in the Hall Gallery!
