Memory-Making with Art: Creating Family Heirlooms
Join us to learn how to turn your cherished memories into art pieces that can be passed down through generations!
This is a 2-session class, with 4-hours of instruction over the 2 2-hour classes. You will work with hand-drawn illustrations, watercolor, and collage, completing a family-themed art piece to take home, such as a decorative memory frame or family tree illustration.
We will explore using a wide range of media, from photographs to scrapbook paper, old book pages, and old sewing pattern papers. Look through your personal treasures and bring photocopies of 3 special photos, photos of ancestors, or a significant document you would like to use in your art piece. Please be sure to only bring photocopies, rather than the originals.
This is a 2-session class meeting Tuesday, 3/4/25 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, and Saturday, 3/8/25 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
