If you can, stay for the Artist’s Choice Exhibition and awards at 5:30 pm and help celebrate our local artists and start off the Memorial Day weekend remembering those who made the greatest sacrifice for their country.
This year’s awards feature the second annual Remembrance Poppy Award! The Remembrance Poppy is the emblem of National Poppy Day, recognized on the Friday prior to Memorial Day in honor of all the men and women who served and died for their country in all wars. This year the awards will be presented by Allyson Rosser, North Carolina Chapter Leader and National Recruiter for Native American Women Warriors.
