We are closed Thursday, July 4th, open again Tuesday, July 9th!
Independence Day has been a federal holiday since 1941, but the tradition of Fourth of July celebrations goes back to the 18th century and the American Revolution. On July 2nd, 1776, the Continental Congress voted in favor of independence, and on July 4th the 13 colony delegates adopted the Declaration of Independence drafted by Thomas Jefferson. Every year since that historic vote in 1776, we have celebrated the birth of American independence on July 4th, with parades and concerts and family gatherings and barbecues.
The Robeson Art Guild will be closed on Thursday, July 4th, as our members celebrate with their families and communities, wherever those celebrations may be! Have a wonderful holiday!
See you soon!
