Colored pencils are a versatile and approachable art medium that allows artists to create rich color, beautiful details, and realistic shading. In this guided workshop, participants will learn the fundamentals of colored pencil drawing, including:
- sketching and composition
- selecting colors for depth and realism
- blending multiple colors
- creating highlights and shadows
- building layers to create dimension and texture
Through simple exercises and a guided project, participants will discover how a single color can contain many shades and how thoughtful layering creates vibrant, lifelike artwork.
Perfect for beginners as well as artists looking to strengthen their colored pencil techniques. All materials are provided.
