When the Caldwell Arts Council held its first Sculpture Celebration in 1985, few could have imagined that it would continue today. This year the Robeson Art Guild has plans for a trip to see the beautiful grounds studded with sculpture. The Sculpture Celebration is scheduled for September 10, the Saturday after Labor Day, at the Broyhill Walking Park in Lenoir, NC. This is a nationally recognized event that draws sculptors in competition for cash prizes and potential sales – it’s a wonderful event.
