Please join us for a special tour of the Annual Internationally Known Lenoir NC Sculpture Contest and Celebration.
The Robeson Art Guild private car caravan tour will leave Lumberton at 11am on September 9th, traveling in our own autos to beautiful Blowing Rock NC, where we have reserved ten queen double rooms especially for Art Guild members. The Village Inns of Blowing Rock has offered Art Guild members a special rate of $179.00 (10% off regular night’s stay) per night for a double queen en suite room in this charming inn located in the center of town.

We plan to check in at the Inn at approximately 4P (check in time is 3P, should you arrive earlier). For dinner, there are wonderful dining choices on the premises, or we can choose from a host of possibilities available in town. At 7P, we’ll head over in our cars to Lenoir, where the Celebration will be under way with an Open House at the WNC Sculpture Center and Park, complete with a tour and bonfire. There is ample free parking at the Celebration site.
Next morning, Saturday September 10, after breakfast and 11A hotel checkout, we will return to the Lenoir Sculpture Celebration for a day full of viewing, exhibitor judging and a host of events. Live music and food trucks will add to the festivities. Plus, there are a variety of restaurants in the area.
