Annually in the fall the Arts Council Fayetteville-Cumberland Co. awards Artist Support Grants for projects planned for the coming year. Artists operating or residing in Cumberland, Hoke, Robeson, Sampson, and Scotland Counties are eligible and may be awarded grants ranging from $500 to $2,000.

Artist Support Grants provide direct support to emerging and established artists who work in visual arts, crafts, performing arts, traditional, or interdisciplinary art forms.
Artists operating or residing in Cumberland, Hoke, Robeson, Sampson, and Scotland Counties may be awarded.
Grant requests range from $500 – $2,000.
Grant will fund the artistic and professional development of emerging and established artists to enhance the artists’ skills and abilities to create work, improve business operations in their discipline, and/or build their capacity to bring their work to new audiences.
Artist Support Grants projects are funded from December 1, 2023 to December 31, 2024.
Awards may range from $500.00 to $2,000.00. Applicants may receive full or partial funding.All applications and support material must be submitted electronically through the Arts Council’s online grants portal.

Artist Support Grant Workshop (In-Person)
All applicants are strongly recommended to attend an Artists Support Grant Application Workshop. The workshops provide insight into the Application and Submission Process, Guidelines, Evaluation, and Q&A. The In-Person Workshop is not required to apply but is recommended. The next Workshop is scheduled for Tuesday, September 26, from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm. It will be held at 301 Hay Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301.
