The Artist’s Choice 2026 and Remembrance Poppy Exhibition opened Thursday evening, May 12th, after the Bar-B-Q. It was a busy day for sure, but Lil Willie’s Smokehouse outdid themselves with great food! It was so welcome to relax in the air conditioning, take in the beautiful work from all over Robeson County, and learn a little more about local veterans from Allyson Rosser. Stop in soon, even if you made it to the opening! The People’s Choice Award to coming up – get your votes in for your personal favorites. As we’ve said before, we can’t track ’em anyway, so vote often and get your favorite piece over the finish line. The People’s Choice Award is announced once the exhibition closes on Thursday, July 9th.
Nanette Zeller was the judge for the Exhibition and selected the winning entry for the Remembrance Poppy Award. We are thrilled that in addition to judging this show, Nanette has agreed to hold 2 fiber art classes at the Guild this year.
