CALL FOR ENTRIES: The Robeson Art Guild (RAG) is accepting entries for the Summer Living 2026 Exhibition on Tuesday July 14 at RAG (109 W 9th St., Lumberton), from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Online entries open July 2nd and will remain open through the July 14 deadline, when the physical art work must be delivered to the Guild House unless alternate arrangements have been confirmed with the Art Guild.
The theme for Summer Living 2026 is simple: the lazy, hazy days of summer! Henri Matisse noted, “There are always flowers for those who want to see them.” Around here we tend to talk about the blessings of the season, special foods, even the magic of kids free from school, playing in the water, and remembering those dear ones now far away. How will you express your personal magical experience, the beauty of summer rainbows, blue skies, and sparkling fireflies at night? Every season has its own beauty, its own wonder. We are looking forward to seeing your unique experience.
The Exhibition opens July 23rd with a reception at the Guild House. Join us at 6:30 pm! Join us for a lovely summer evening at the Guild House.
