Allyson Rosser
Allyson Rosser is presenting the awards for the Artist’s Choice Exhibition at the Opening Reception this year. We are looking forward to hearing more about her life and her work with women veterans.
A dedicated community leader, Allyson serves as the North Carolina Chapter Leader and National Recruiter for the Native American Women Warriors group, where she helped establish North Carolina as the organization’s first chapter due to its rapid growth and outreach. Through this work, she creates space for Native American female veterans to be fully seen, honored, and supported in every part of their identity.
A U.S. Army Airborne veteran, she is a passionate advocate for Native communities, women veterans, and suicide awareness and prevention.
The first and, so far, only woman in her family to serve in the military, Allyson is a proud member of the Pee Dee Tribe of South Carolina.

Allyson holds two bachelor’s degrees, one in Graphic and Multimedia Design and one in International Business and Marketing, as well as a master’s degree in communications with a nonprofit focus. Continuing her commitment to leadership and community impact, she has recently been accepted into a PhD program, which she will begin this fall.

We have a wonderful selection of entries this year – don’t miss seeing the creativity that exists right in and around Robeson County. Nanette Zeller had her hands full picking the winners. We are looking forward to celebrating the artists for their very original, meaningful work.
Now, in the highly unlikely event that you don’t agree with some of the decisions… Well, come in and cast your vote for the People’s Choice Award!
Look for the bowl with the ballots and pens, browse the display, and cast your vote. Every entry in the Exhibit Hall has a Number assigned. Just put the number down and drop your vote in the Donation Box in the front room, across from teh front door.
See you Thursday!
