We are thrilled to announce the first in a new series of classes available to our Robeson County Community! Botanical Illustrations in Watercolor and Ink are the subject of 2 separate classes, the first on Tuesday, February 25th and the second on Tuesday, April 22nd. Each class can be taken separately, but if you have completed the February class first you will have the opportunity to explore more advanced techniques when you attend the April class. Jill Vicker is the instructor for both classes.

About the Instructor – Jill Vickers
Jill joined the Art Guild just a few months ago and is the driving force behind the new series of classes. You may have met Jill around the Guild House recently – she has entered several pieces in the recent exhibitions and has original paintings, collages, and prints available for sale in the shop at the Guild House.
We are very lucky to have her as a new instructor! Jill holds a Master of Arts degree in Art Education and blends her expertise in art and design with a deep understanding of art’s transformative power. Her work reflects her passion for storytelling, nostalgia, and emotional resonance – you will see that passion shared through the classes she has designed for the Art Guild! Jill is dedicated to the therapeutic potential of art and understands the profound impact art can have on emotional healing, offering solace and expression for individuals navigating life’s challenges. She is particularly committed to using art as a therapeutic tool for stroke patients, helping them relearn mobility and rediscover their creativity as part of their recovery journey.
