The goal of TIME OUT Exhibition was to celebrate the creative response of local artists to being hobbled throughout Covid-19. We asked each artist to share some of their expressions, how they captured their own reactions during these times.
Thanks to all the artists who submitted artwork for the show and to Sandy Stratil of Whispering Pines, North Carolina, who agreed to serve as Judge for the exhibition.

Certainly, all of us have been impacted by the Pandemic. Some of us have been restricted to smaller spaces, others have been required to be in different spaces. Many of us have been challenged to have a space. Our lives have changed, and our thoughts are constantly changing. We, like nature, are experiencing metamorphosis (change of physical form, structure, or substance especially by supernatural means). Logically, our creative expression has also changed.
The Robeson Art Guild is honoring creative changes in its first non-juried exhibition of work. For its opening show, METAMORPOSIS 1, artists were invited to submit one or two works, two-dimensional or three-dimensional, in any medium. Check out the list of the featured works on display.
PUBLIC’S CHOICE HONORS: $100 will be awarded to the artist whose work is chosen by visitors to the Exhibition at the Guild House.
Drop in soon to view the artists’ works and vote for your favorite!
